When we met Koichiro Isogai, we were immediately enthusiastic about him and his Origami Plant Pots: A Japanese man who has lived in Hamburg St. Pauli for many years, bubbling over with optimism and joie de vivre, and who, in addition to his job as a communication designer, in his spare time comes up with the idea for these tiny plant pots inspired by the Japanese origami technique - who could resist? We certainly couldn't.
The Oribon Origami Plant Pots are made of stone paper, an environmentally friendly material for which no trees have to be felled. It consists of limestone flour with organic additives, feels velvety-soft, is water- and tear-resistant and particularly resilient.
Using the pre-folded lines, the shells can be put together in a few minutes with a little skill and a steady hand; no glue or scissors are needed. So, off you go: Fold, put in some soil and plant seeds or a small cutting, water and watch life grow! In addition to the plant pots, this propagation set contains everything you need to get started straight away.
