The two brothers Otxo and Mario Conti founded Volta Mobiles in Paris in 2015 and moved the studio to Barcelona just two years later. They finely handcraft mobiles and stabiles (mobiles with a stand) with recycled metals and paint them with vibrant colours. And all in the spirit of sustainability! Model Dallas (460 x 410 mm) is one of these minimalist stabiles and is beautiful on a chest of drawers or on a shelf. It convinces with its timeless elegance, combining the extravagant colours of the 60s with Scandinavian design, and it is not unusual for a visitor to the Kunsthalle to find the play of colours all too familiar. A well-known Dutch painter sends his regards!
